Abstract Rose is a self reveal in some ways. An English rose yet in the past fragmented. A great example of how art imitates life and at the same time the act of painting and subsequently the painting itself providing nourishment and a safety net for me as I walk this path called life. When painting this I felt that this is an important painting to have out there. Whilst roses are beautiful, what happens after the party? There is a lot to an individual and this painting depicts that. We are all made of an array of feelings, types and experiences.
