Into The Blue is a defiant celebration of machismo and the patriarchs of this world. Inspired by the men in my life. I couldn't be without them. I think men are amazing yet feeling attacked at the moment by the rise of women. Their egos sometimes get in the way yes, but men need to feel their worth and the worth of women. We need to stop trying to out do each other and appreciate our differences and indeed our similarities. I feel that the experiences we have in life really do make us or at least make the veil we have in our personality. That is why a lot of my artwork is so layered and textured - it is done because I enjoy it and also with the aim of showing that life and our being is deep and worthy.
