The Lake invokes fond memories of our beloved cottage overlooking a lake. Painted during lockdown, this painting exudes cheeriness, passion and positivity. The view of such a water source is one of my favourite places in the world to be. My mood really does change when encountering water like that and everyday I felt so blessed to be there at the time and looking at this wonderful and powerful view of nature. It provided a bounty of inspiration and really was one of the best places you could be during lockdown. I'm so blessed to have lived there and the memories of that wonderful vista stay with me every day.
