Mum and Baby Tigers is how I see these animals with a matriarchal power and powerful bond between a mother and her child and how they are similar beings. The ferocious protection which a mother feels towards its cubs is evident as is a cubist take on the make up of animals, not in a natural state but in how they feel about how the human race is breaking them up, from their habitat and natural being. As this painting, on the angry and sad side, shows what we are doing to them and the natural world and they are angry about it. The bright colours could mean toxicity in this instance. Yet overall it aims to show how powerful the mother child relationship clearly is.
