For The Love of God is a celebration of rock guitar and a love of music, hope and love. There is actually a guitar outline etched into the painting. A shout out to Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, two incredible instrumental guitarists who were introduced to me by my brother, so this is inspired by all three of them.
I find intrumental rock guitar to be so invigorating and yet unexpectedly relaxing. It definitely is a way of getting rid of tension and can have just a calming effect on the senses, if you enjoy it. At first it might be a bit of an acquired taste but once you are into that music it is brilliant. This painting evidences that there is often more to a situation than meets the eye as there are a flurry of colours once you get up close (and of course, a guitar!).
